VMware host maintenace using cmd

      VMware host maintenance using cmd using putty or console 

Can you please try to connect directly to the Host with the vSphere Client and place the host in maintenance mode.

If that will not work also, please try to use this command:

vimsh -n -e /hostsvc/maintenance_mode_enter

To exit maintenance mode use this command:

vimsh -n -e /hostsvc/maintenance_mode_exit
